To enroll in master's degree programs, you must pass a comprehensive testing (CT).
 
Applications for participation in CT are accepted from June 1 to July 15 of the calendar year.
CT is performed from July 20 to August 10 of a calendar year
 
CT includes:
1) for applicants to the master's program with Kazakh or Russian language: test of foreign language (English,French,German), test on the profile of a group of educational programs (SEP), a test to determine readiness to learn in Kazakh or Russian (optional);
2) for applicants to the master's program with an English language of instruction: a test on the profile of a group of educational programs in English and a test to determine readiness to learn in Kazakh or Russian (optional).

Persons who have one of the international certificates confirming their proficiency in a foreign language in accordance with the pan-European competences (standards) of foreign language proficiency are exempt from the CT foreign language test.

Exemption from CT:

Individuals entering the master's program in the groups of educational programs of the fields of education "Pedagogical Sciences", as well as training areas "Business and management" are exempt from CT if they have an international certificate of passing the standardized test Graduate Record Examinations (GRE).
