Terms of admission

Education in the educational programs of doctoral PhD programs is carried out on state grants and on a fee basis. Admission of persons to the PhD doctoral program is carried out on a competitive basis according to the results of entrance examinations.

Admission of foreign nationals to the PhD doctoral program is carried out on a fee basis according to the results of the interview conducted by the admissions committee of the university during the calendar year. Enrollment of foreign citizens is carried out in accordance with the academic calendar 5 (five) days before the beginning of the next academic period.

Documents on education issued by foreign educational organizations are recognized in the order established by law. Documents in a foreign language are provided with a notarized translation into Kazakh or Russian. Documents on the education, issued by foreign educational organizations, pass a procedure of a recognition of documents on education in the order established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan after enrollment of persons within 1 (the first) academic period of training.

The requirements for applicants to the PhD doctoral program: presence of an academic degree "Master" and work experience of not less than 9 (nine) months.

Tuition Fee: 1 500 000 KZT for 1 academic year.
Acceptance of documents:
1. from July 3 to August 3
2. from November, 5 to 18
Entrance examinations:
1. from 4 to 20 August
2. from November 19 to December 11

Enrollment:
1. by August 28 (during summer admission)
2. by January 10 (during winter admission)

Persons entering the doctoral program shall submit to the admissions committee and/or through the information system the following documents:

1) an application to the head of the University;
2) copy of an identity document;
3) document of education (original diploma of master's degree with attachments, copy of bachelor's degree and attachments to the diploma);
4) International certificate confirming knowledge of a foreign language

-English: IELTS (Academic) - not less than 5,5; TOEFL IBT - not less than 46; TOEFL PBT- not less than 453;

-German: DSH - B2, TestDaF-Prufung B2;

-French: TFI - at least level B2 in the reading and listening sections), DELF B2, DALF B2, TCF - at least 50 points.

5) A medical certificate by the form 075Y;
6) 3x4 cm digital photo;
7) a personnel sheet or other document confirming employment, certified by the HR Department at the place of work;
8) list of scientific and scientific-methodological works (scientific publications, research plan, essays and other documents) for the last 3 calendar years.
9) official certificate of passing the state language examination (KAZTEST), issued by the NTC

If you provide an incomplete list of documents, the admissions committee does not accept documents from applicants.

Persons who have completed a foreign Universities in countries whose state or official language is English (and who have specialized accreditation of foreign accreditation bodies included in registers and (or) associations of accreditation bodies of member states of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development) within 5 years do not provide international certificates confirming foreign language proficiency in accordance with Common European competences (standards) of foreign language proficiency.

Enrollment of persons in doctoral studies is carried out on the basis of international certificates confirming foreign language skills in accordance with the European competences (standards) of foreign language skills and according to the results of the entrance exam with at least 75 points out of a possible 100 points.

To study in the doctoral state educational order on a competitive basis are enrolled persons who scored at least 75 points on the entrance exam.
Persons enrolled in the groups of training areas "Business and Management" are exempt from the entrance examinations for doctoral studies if they have an international certificate of passing the standardized test Graduate Record Examinations (GRE).
